Two Islands United

Anguillian Attorney-at-law Alex Richardson and Farrah (Shelley) Busby, Health Policy Professional in the Ministry of Health in St Maarten, were married at the St Simon and St Jude Anglican Church in Philipsburg, St Maarten. The ceremony was conducted by the Right Reverend Errol Brooks, Bishop of the Northeast Caribbean And Aruba. A large number of family and friends were present, to witness the couple exchange vows, including the bride’s parents Felicia Mathew and businessman Sheffield Busby; and the groom’s parents Regna Richardson and the Hon. Eustace John.

The couple later hosted a reception at the elegant Villa La Salamandre in Lowlands, French St Martin. The guests gathered on the wharf of the villa to greet the newlyweds and their bridal party as they arrived by boat across Simpson Bay Lagoon. The magnificent sunset provided the perfect backdrop to the start of an evening of fine dining, wining and entertainment at the beautifully decorated villa.

The enchanting theme of both the reception and the church ceremony was “Autumn Bliss”. The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.
