Four A.L.H.C.S Students Complete First Aid Course |

Four members of the Junior Red Cross, at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School, recently qualified for certification in Basic First Aid. They successfully completed their First Aid Course, delivered by Trevor Queeley, Emergency Medical Technician and Certified Red Cross Trainer, during the month of December and were awarded their certificate during general assembly at school on Friday 16 January.

These students are now equipped to use their knowledge and expertise to help anyone who may be in need of them. They reported having enjoyed the course and pledged to continue to build on their newly acquired skills.
The students are Jiva Niles (President of the Club), Craig Perkins, Brittany Jeffers and Mervil Nisbett. Ingrid Lake, Principal of the Comprehensive School, and Vanessa John, Member responsible for the Junior Red Cross, presented the certificates.
Students of the school who participate in the WISE programme are also currently receiving instruction in the First Aid under the guidance of Nurse Susan Harrigan.
