The two-day session, which began on Thursday, August 28, was organised to familiarise teachers with the Anguilla Public Service, its operations, policies and procedures. It was aimed at assisting teachers with learning about, and adjusting to, their new envitronment and ultimately to ensure their effective integration into the organisation.

It is anticipated that after the two days, the teachers would have a better understanding of the Anguilla Public Service and that they would continue to feel that they had made the right decision when they joined the Public Service.

The facilitators for the two-day session were Miss Aurjul Wilson, Permanent Secretary, Public Administration; Mrs. Lana Horsford-Harrigan, Director, Human Resource Management; Miss Valarie Hodge and Mrs. Charmaine Rogers, both Deputy Directors, Human Resource Management.
