CCB is providing customers with “total access, total convenience and total control” of their accounts using a computer and an internet connection.

The technological banking development makes it possible for persons to make bill (utility) payments, transfer funds, check account balances and view transaction records among other things.

Members of the public are being invited to sign up for the online banking service before January 31 to get CCB E-Access free until year end.

The service was explained to customers by Marketing Assistant, Cleo Hamm, as they approached his desk in the lobby area on entering CCB as of Monday, January 9. “What we are actually doing is launching our online access service,” he told them. “It is our Internet Banking and it goes by the name of CCB E-Access. It allows anyone who has an account with the Bank to check their balances [among other matters] using a computer and an internet connection.

“With this, you don’t have to come to the Bank. You can be anywhere in the world…You can check your balances, transfer money from account to account or you can check your transfer history to see how you spent your money. You can even send us messages pertaining to your account if you want to do something that is not done regularly.”

“There are other things that can be done as well by using this service, and we think it is quite good.”

Mr. Hamm reported that many people were interested and thought it was a good online banking service to have.
