Brenda Lawrence
Brenda Lawrence, who is a US citizen resident in Anguilla has some very unusual pieces of pottery that are all hand-built. They include wall pockets, small teapots, tamari pots and spoons. The wall pockets can be hung as art pieces or used to hold plants, flowers, wooden spoons in the kitchen, mail, hand towels and many other things around the house. The small pots with lids can be used to steep tea, tisane or herbal teas. They can also function as spouted pots for pouring thin sauces or syrups, or used to hold soy sauce or hot sauce.

Brenda has sold her work throughout New York State where she lived prior to moving to Anguilla. This is her first show in the West Indies and she is dedicating it to the memory of her teacher Sophia Fenton who died recently at the age of 90.
